Open Outlook Express, if it opens a window and asks you where to store the mail files, it will
usually default to placing them in the Outlook Express folder, this is fine. Select this, then click
ok.
Once the program has opened, go to TOOLS, then ACCOUNTS, it should look like the image below. - If it opens to any other tab than MAIL, click on the MAIL tab and it should look like the above image.
- If you have any other mail accounts showing that you do not currently use, click on each one at
a time and click REMOVE after each account. When you have removed them all, click ADD
then pick MAIL account, then follow the wizard to setup your account.
- If it opens to a setup wizard, follow the wizard's instructions and enter the information as it
asks for it.
Otherwise skip to the row of ********.
(If you get lost during the wizard, just complete it the best you can and if it doesn't work
properly, return to this setup guide and skip down to the row of ********* and correct the
information that is wrong.

Click on your IMS mail account (probably named "mail.imsinternet.net"). Then click the properties
button. It should look like the image below.
Fill in the appropriate information using the pictures as a guide. The information in the pictures
will NOT be exactly the same in most places. This information is unique for each user. You
must adjust the information to match YOUR account. When you finish this tab, click on each
one across the top of the window and they should look SIMILAR to the next images. Remember
the information will be a little different.

When you finish all of the tabs across the top, (security and advanced tabs not shown, they are usually correct by default) click APPLY, then click OK then click CLOSE on the
Accounts window. You should be back to Outlook Express. Close the program and any other
windows you have open back to your desktop.
You should now be ready to connect, send and receive mail with Outlook Express.
